This occupational group is diverse, comprised of eight job families. Jobs in the Administrative Management and Support family provide support for program or agency/department activities and operations. This includes data, information, and records management and application and interpretations of rules, policies, procedures, and laws. Jobs in the Program Management/Support family manage or contribute to the management of programs or projects. Jobs in the Business Project Management family manage projects including the coordination and completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope. Jobs in the Research and Data Analysis family collect, analyze, and interpret information. Jobs in the Risk/Claims Management family manage, investigate, evaluate, and negotiate resolutions to claims. Jobs in the Customer Service family assist users of services by providing information, explaining rules and laws, providing research, and resolving problems. Jobs in the Storekeeping and Warehouse family work in a warehouse, canteen, commissary, storeroom, or gift shop involving the acquisition, receipt, storage, and distribution of inventory. Finally, jobs in the Human Rights Investigation family investigate complaints of discriminatory practices in employment, housing, or public accommodations.
