Senior Utility Regulatory Auditor

General summary

This is a professional position accountable for conducting audits of all sizes and types of utilities and performing specialized or advanced duties in one or more of the major phases of auditing by evaluating the procedures and techniques of public utility companies under the authority of the PSC. Employees at this level may serve as lead auditor on portions of audits or complete audits.

Knowledge, skills & abilities

In addition to those identified in the previous level: Ability to provide guidance and training to lower-level auditors regarding public utility auditing procedures and PSC rules, regulations, and procedures. Ability to independently analyze and interpret economic and financial data.

Typical qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 4 or more years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
