Public Health Program Associate

General summary

This is an entry-level professional position responsible for planning, promoting, implementing, or evaluating a public health program, service, or grant; or implementing environmentally influenced public health laws and regulations. At this level, employees provide assistance to partners, contractors, and agencies involved in program implementation; and perform day-to-day program activities including meeting with clients, evaluating health information, and participating in public health events.

Knowledge, skills & abilities

Skill in dealing with diverse individuals and populations in a community. Ability to compile and enter data for reporting purposes.
