This is a top-level administrative position accountable for the coordination and management of multiple treatment units or programs. Directs the treatment program of a large hospital or institution, typically as a Director of Treatment Services, or may direct treatment services for a state agency or division. Develops policy and strategic direction; designs and executes programs that meet the needs of the client population. Accountable for having input into setting a budget and responsible for staying within an assigned budget.
In addition to those identified in the previous levels: Knowledge of principles and practices of effective administration. Ability to plan, implement, and evaluate facility-wide, division-wide, or agency Treatment services. Skill in assessing fiscal needs, providing recommendations, and monitoring expenses.
Bachelor’s degree, 7 or more years of relevant experience, and 1-2 years of managerial experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
