This is a professional position responsible for assisting in the planning, coordination, and direction of a treatment or rehabilitation program within a correctional or other treatment setting for individuals with substance use disorders. Maintains a caseload of clients and provides individual counseling and assessments, develops and implements treatment plans, and participates in case conferences. May function as a lead worker to lower-level staff.
In addition to those identified in the previous level: Knowledge of agency and facility policies and procedures pertaining to the treatment/rehabilitation of individuals with substance use disorders. Ability to manage a client caseload, and provide guidance to lower-level staff.
Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
