Professional supervisor of correctional case management positions or correctional programs. Employees at this level perform work in a specialized unit or area for offenders with special needs, or in coordinating the placement and transfer of offenders. Accountable for obtaining and verifying information from incarcerated adult offenders and evaluating offenders’ institutional adjustment, attitudes toward society, and offenders release plans. Employees work on complex cases; prepare reports on incarcerated offenders; and make recommendations for job assignments, facility transfers, and recommend disciplinary actions.
In addition to those identified in the previous levels: Ability to train, supervise, plan, and evaluate the work of staff. Ability to implement treatment programs and services, and prepare transition plans and progress reports on offenders.
Bachelor’s degree and 2 or more years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
