Employer Pre-Virtual Career Fair Workshop
Haven't attended a virtual fair on Handshake? Or need a Handshake refresher? Join the UMKC career services team via Zoom on Tuesday, February 1 from 12pm - 1pm (CST) for a pre-virtual career fair workshop. Agenda will include:
- An overview of the Handshake platform
- How to create your virtual fair schedule
- Ways to promote your attendance to students
- Best practices for post-virtual career fair follow-up
No RSVP necessary; Zoom info will be sent via email to all registrants 24 hours prior.

Who should attend the virtual Nursing, Healthcare & Life Sciences Career Fair?
- Companies and organizations from all areas of the nursing and healthcare field
- Current UMKC undergraduate and graduate students majoring in a nursing, healthcare, public health, life sciences (anatomy, biology, ecology, genetics, microbiology, pharmacology, physiology, veterinary science), or a related subject
- UMKC alumni working or interested in nursing, healthcare, public health, or life science fields
How to register for virtual career fair on Handshake:
- Submit company's registration for approval.
- Once approved, receive invoice for registration fee.
- Create your virtual fair schedule including 1:1 appointments and group sessions.
- Promote career fair on company website and social media (optional)
