UMKC is excited to offer a virtual career fair option for the Spring 2022 Business, Computing & Engineering Fair! The virtual fair allows employers to enjoy the ability to virtually connect with students and candidates, receive electronic resumes, and save time and costs associated with traveling to participate in on-site events. We will be using Handshake to host our virtual career fair, to provide a user-friendly experience for students and employers.
Registration Instructions
- Submit virtual career fair registration for approval.
- Receive virtual fair registration approval and pay any invoiced fees
- Create your virtual career fair schedule.
- Go to fair overview page and click on the "Schedule" tab
- Click "Add Sessions"
- Follow the workflow prompts to set up group sessions & 1:1 appointments

Registration fee: $500 | Non-profit & government registration fee: $250**
*The registration fee is $500 (or $250) to attend the virtual career fair, in person career fair, or both. See info below about registering for the in person career fair.
**The virtual Civic, Non-Profit, & Government Career Fair will be on Thursday, February 24 from 12pm-2pm.

Refund Policy
Non-refundable registration fee within 48 hours of fair. All cancellations must be submitted in writing and sent to Emily Neuberger. No refunds will be issued if your organization registered, but did not participate in the event. All fees must be paid in full by no later than February 28, 2022.
