The term ‘Non-State Sponsored’ refers to a product that is not endorsed or sponsored by the State of Missouri. Electing similar coverage with a state sponsored vendor does not automatically terminate coverage or the payroll deduction for a non-state sponsored product.
Please Note: The State is not endorsing or sponsoring the voluntary products listed below, nor has the State researched the vendors or the products. No independent review has been conducted by the State regarding non-state sponsored products or services. Instead, the vendors have applied to the State to allow payroll deductions for the cost of their products or service per our state regulations. A state entity that can assist a team member in researching a company or their products is the Missouri Department of Insurance.
(Please note: A team member may enroll, change, or terminate coverage at any time during the year. You will need to work with the vendor and your Agency HR/Personnel Office to establish, change, or terminate the coverage.)
