Prior to Start
Your new supervisor will contact you by phone or e-mail before your start date. They will welcome you and answer any questions you may have. Be prepared to share preferred contact information so that your supervisor can send you welcome information.
Day 1- Your Reporting Day
Your first day is exciting! Remember to give yourself plenty of time to find the room where you were directed to report. You will have a busy first day. Among other things, you will:
- Have a Meet & Greet
- Discuss your training
- Review the agenda for the day with your supervisor
- Meet with Human Resources
Please bring with you the following items:
- Appropriate identification documents - List of acceptable identification. You must bring either one document from list A or one each from lists B and C.
Training
You will soon start training to learn the duties of your job. Your supervisor will also discuss with you the training on values that the State of Missouri deems important to the success of team members. Once you have had this conversation, please complete the following training within the below listed timeframes. If the training is in-seat, you will be notified when to attend as it will be scheduled or conducted by your agency.
