This is a professional human resources management-level position accountable for the development and management of one or more statewide human resources programs such as recruitment and selection, training and development, classification and compensation, employee engagement, HRIS, labor relations, and/or workforce planning. Positions are accountable for developing programs, policies, procedures, rules, and action plans for implementation of statewide programs. Positions maintain a leadership role in human resources projects that have a statewide impact; provide guidance and technical assistance to agency leadership on designated statewide programs.
In addition to those identified in the previous levels: Knowledge of workforce trends in the public and private sector. Ability to analyze and evaluate policies and operations, and formulate recommendations.
Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
