General summary
This is an entry-level position having independent responsibility for carrying out basic economic research projects. At this level, employees evaluate and review technical information and prepare analyses, plans, and reports, and assist with market interpretations. Employees also provide other support to higher level Economists and participate as a member of a team, project, or program.
Knowledge, skills & abilities
Knowledge of research methods, and software packages associated with statistical evaluations. Ability to evaluate and understand economic issues, and analyze statistical data.
Typical qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
