Risk/Claims Technician Supervisor

General summary

This is a supervisory position accountable for efficient operations and ensuring staff assignments are completed accurately and within set guidelines. At this level, employees also assist with the review of rating factors to determine appropriate rate classifications, and review information to determine potential risk exposures. Supervision at this level involves performing and reviewing the work overseen.

Knowledge, skills & abilities

In addition to those identified in the previous levels: Knowledge of risk assessment and rate classification processes. Ability to evaluate information and assess risk.  Ability to assign and evaluate work of staff.

Typical qualifications

4-6 years of experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
